Deskrizzjoni

The University of Malta, as a partner in the RECLAIM project, requires the acquisition of a bench-top CO₂ incubator to support laboratory-based activities foreseen within the project. RECLAIM is focused on biodiversity restoration and the management of invasive alien species through integrated field monitoring, laboratory analysis, and impact assessment. The bench-top CO₂ incubator will be essential to provide controlled temperature, humidity, and CO₂ conditions required for environmental microbiology and cell-based assays, including laboratory validation and quality-control procedures linked to biodiversity health and freshwater ecosystem assessment. This laboratory capacity will allow the University of Malta to contribute effectively to the project objectives, particularly in supporting evidence-based restoration actions, biosecurity assessments, and the generation of reliable, standardised data to complement field-based monitoring activities.
